@JonMalach @nspowerinc School is the one place some children have reprieve from abuse at home and can learn critical thinking and social skills without a parents lurking gaze. Sometimes home is the least safe place for a child, especially ones whose parents don’t accept them.

@thebravobabe_ My dad was an addict. My mom was killed by a drunk driver while she was walking on the sidewalk. I have a unique point of view - and it’s she needs to face the consequences of her actions. She’s lucky she didn’t kill someone.
