Where are all the physio staff?
We're calling for the government to urgently address recruitment and retention of physiotherapy staff in the workforce plan.
Value physiotherapy staff.

With 5% increase from @thecsp and a 20% rise from @The_HCPC we are now looking at £45pcm to come to work. Its a struggle to see the current value of either in the real world, and no where near a deal that is a fair and equitable pay rise/conditions for NHS staff. Untenable #nhs

@KMiddletonCSP spoke to the BBC about why NHS physio staff took part in strike action last week.

If you’re not taking the vaccine because of what’s in it but you’re smashing pills at raves that have been pressed in someone’s loft then I don’t know what to tell you g
The situation across the UK is deeply worrying:
Every 30 seconds, another person is taken to hospital with COVID-19.
A quarter of all patients hospitalised are under 55.
This impacts all of us. Please, stay at home to protect yourself and our NHS.
The reality in London:
40% more people in hospital with COVID-19 now than in the first peak.
More people in ICU than ever before.
23% more people in hospital with COVID-19 in just over one week.
This is serious. Please, help our NHS and stay at home.
More than 7,000 people are in London’s hospitals being treated for COVID-19.
That’s almost 2,000 more than the first peak in April.
Every single one of us can help prevent more people getting sick.
Stay at home and follow the lockdown rules.
LONDON: I cannot overstate how bad things currently are across our city.
There hasn’t been a time during this pandemic when I’ve been more concerned than I am now.
Please, please stay at home. This will save lives - and help to support our NHS.
London hospitals in danger of being overwhelmed, warns @mayoroflondon@sadiqkhan as 800 Covid patients are admitted in a single day | Video report by @simonharrisitv
There are no ITU beds in the valleys. So you might be 23 and invincible if you get COVID but what if you crash your car? Or a friend takes an overdose or a parent needs emergency surgery? Guess what! No beds for you either. And THAT’S how this affects everyone. Rant over.
This kind of COVID denialism is not just Internet rubbish, it's dangerous and real and led us in part to the disaster we are in right now.
Do not RT, even to trash it. Block, report and move on.
And as ever, hands, face, space, fresh air and please, stay at home. /end
Vaccines work.
Vaccines are safe.
Vaccines slow the spread of diseases.
If you’re offered the COVID-19 vaccine, please take it. It’s the best way to protect yourself, and others, from this deadly disease.
