@MariamSalehi Ah, sorry, I missed that it was proxied through the university library. This should be the 'normal' open access link: https://t.co/4WFZj8WF2B
I am full of gratitude that my article 'Invoking ‘the Customary’ in the Formalization of Land Reform in Liberia and Sierra Leone' is out in the world. https://t.co/u5oTiQfKbm
In it, I analyse the work that invoking reference to 'the customary' does, and what it can tell us.
I am also extremely grateful to @FBAFolke for their generous funding of my research, and @SuSoRUG for providing me with an additional grant that I used to turn my initial research findings into posters for the communities we worked in.
This research was possible because of the generosity and expertise of the people who shared their time and knowledge with me. It would have been impossible without the labor and knowledge of the teams I worked with. (Kou, Regina, Joseph, Josephine, Ibrahim, Mamadou, and Kabah)
Assets in Apartheid, a report by LSE Palestine Society, is now live!

@MilliLake @MilliLake - thank you for consistently being a model for how to make academia a better place! I hope the rest of your time here in NL is less filled with police malarkey.
Announcing the HTIR summer series @FacultyofArtsUG, and what a treat!
From @lucian_ashworth's geopolitics, @SeanMolloyIR on Hegel, @berytia and M. Sesay on political ecologies, feminism with D. Ahmadi, and reflecting on the Carnation Revolution...
All curious are welcome!

@DrMmartind and I are happy that this is out! María has done a great job summarizing it in this thread - so if you’re curious about how we analyze the UN agenda on gender, natural resources and peace, read her thread to see what we argue, then read the open access article!

I ran out of choices. Please help me evacuate my family from Gaza to Egypt. I’m hoping to travel to Egypt as soon as I have the amount needed to facilitate their exit directly. Please share and donate as much as you can.
