I wish I had the time to tell the stories of every student athlete in town. I was proud to have the chance to spend three hours last night with 70 incredible kids at the Charlotte Track and Field Awards. We need more good news in our world. Thank you all for attending

Spring Fest is BACK! Be there tomorrow - Saturday at AKHS! Our athletes who qualified for Nationals will be raising $$$ to compete in Oregon in June. Support them by purchasing a 50-50 raffle and buying a pretzel. Bring your friends and family! @AKSportsInfo

[Ardrey Kell XC/TF @akxctf]

Friday night was an incredible night for our distance crew. All runners PR’d since it was the first “true mile” (1609 meters) for most of them. 23 of 31 athletes’ time would have been a 1600 PR even with the extra 9 meters. The season is coming together at the perfect time!

[Ardrey Kell XC/TF @akxctf]

In other Mount Tabor Mile news … AKTF qualified two teams for NATIONALS 🏃🏼‍♀️ 🏃‍♂️ 🏃‍♂️ 🏃🏼‍♀️ in the 4xMile - one for men and women. Way to go Patrick, Raghav, Nicholas & Joey AND Anna, Caitlin, Julia & Taylor. Well done. Keep up the great work! @AKSportsInfo

[Ardrey Kell XC/TF @akxctf]

This is how excited some of our distance runners are for 25 heats of the mile at the Mount Tabor Mile & Throwing Thunder meet tonight in Winston Salem. Best of luck to our many distance runners running the mile and 3 throwers competing in shot put this evening. @AKSportsInfo
