I know this is not the WNBA's fault, but this is insane that #GothamFC was kicked off ABC when they were scheduled first.
Obviously any postseason game should be the priority, but this was also poor scheduling by ESPN. #NYLiberty
But putting the whole case aside, one thing is true, and that is the PL rules need to change. I don't know what is the right answer, but even as a #ManCity fan, I want to see more competition for trophies. Even if that means City only wins here and there for a while.
Reading the PL statement, it really is not good at all. If #ManCity has proof they are innocent, then one would think they would have at least been cleared on more charges.
I don't cheer for the owners, though, and if fully at fault, punish them. Not the supporters and players.
Knowing the club, this is still not over, but I would expect some kind of punishment eventually.
Punish the owners, though, and not everyone else. I would say the same for any club, anywhere in the world, even rivals. #ManCity
I understand some are arguing that lying about the money and funding allowed #ManCity to sign certain players, but until there is direct evidence that said players would have gone elsewhere, then I don't believe that means there was cheating on the pitch.
I know some #NYCFC fans are worried about the recent #ManCity verdict, but I believe we should not worry just yet.
I explain why here:

As a fan, you really start to question the ownership now and ask why they are not fighting back more, even indirectly, in the media, if they are fully innocent.
Arguing about the rules is one thing, but this is an intriguing statement. #ManCity
Bringing back this tweet because if the #ManCity players physically cheated on the pitch, then I would say harsh punishment is needed.
But the Astros won the World Series and kept the win despite physically cheating.
So again, punish the owners, not the fans and players.
Sorry for the tweets but between the Astros players getting away with cheating and Man City's Euro ban... I am just so puzzled.
Man City players had nothing to do with ownership's misdeeds and they are punished, yet the Astros can still compete in playoffs.
@MLB? Answers?

I am a Man City fan. This is extremely concerning, but I stand by the overall view that fans should not be punished for their ownership.
I can see a point reduction or transfer ban (other PL teams have had that) but I never believe that a team should be relegated.
EXCLUSIVE: Manchester City have been found guilty on almost all of the charges relating to breaches of the Premier League’s financial regulations.
The sanctions have not been decided, with all possibilities remaining on the table, and City are expected to appeal.
City have been found guilty on all but one of the 115 charges, according to sources briefed on the matter who spoke anonymously as they were not authorised to do so publicly.
