@ldaviesmusic @JaneLabour If around 15 bollards is not isolation I don’t know what is. Your suggestion of going by car sounds great but was a 25 minute journey this morning compared to the usual 3 minutes. Definitely not the reducing emissions initiative it was meant to be.

@AlistairCFord @JaneLabour You are also totally missing my point. This initiative has isolated residents. I am lucky enough to be able to walk sometimes and I do so on a weekend or if I have time in the evening, however it is an assumption that I can walk or cycle, as many residents will not be able to.

@AlistairCFord @JaneLabour Yes I do. I drive to West Jesmond where my partner lives on an evening so that my car is there to drive to the gym or work the next morning. Am I not allowed to do that?

@JaneLabour To justify it due to reducing carbon emissions is astonishing. This cannot be reducing emissions when residents are now having to travel further and the traffic on the coast road and Osborne road is at an all time high.
