@GBPolitcs@GBNEWS This was introduced to help people on the autism spectrum as they understand language very literally.
It has nothing to do with offending foreigners.

It cannot be said often enough: if you change parties in the middle of a Parliament, you owe it to your constituents and to any sense of decency and fairness to hold a by-election. You were elected on a different manifesto, you should make the case to the electorate again.
Until Margaret Thatcher decided we needed to Privatise it the UK had the cheapest Water in Europe, among the cheapest Electricity and cheap rail/mail.
Now we have ripoff Water, the world's most expensive electricity and the most expensive rail/mail in Europe.
My lovely neighbours from Nepal run a restaurant, they always offer amazing food at Diwali and I always take them a candle to celebrate the festival of light.
I feel safer knowing they’re next door, they bring a sense of community and everyone loves them.
This is England 🏴
@UK_Optimist@floff12@RhonddaBryant This culture is what most people of all races and countries follow. You will obviously get some minorities of those across all countries and races who don’t follow this. If this is culture I don’t think it would mean immigration would destroy this culture.
@razzlededazzle@floff12@RhonddaBryant But what is our culture? Genuine question. Lots of our heritage is the Empire. Which you could argue led to the multiculturalism. We were mixing with other cultures all over the world, telling them to join us. In that way I believe Britain has always been about multiculturalism.
@HolyoakeJ14576@EdwardJDavey@KemiBadenoch I was born in Britain, heritage back as far as I can see. I’m not Christian so I need to be removed too? I don’t believe in all the Christian values. As many of my other white British friends aren’t either. Let’s be honest it’s not Christianity you want safe it’s whiteness.
@TheBritLad@EdwardJDavey@KemiBadenoch As an average Brit around the average person. I think your echo chamber is not the norm. You’re issues with jobs, the nhs etc is not the immigrants. It’s the politicians and they’re loving that you’re not blaming them!
@Cheekyvino01@EdwardJDavey@KemiBadenoch Sovereign literally means ‘a state with a defined territory that administers its own government and is not subject to or dependent on another power.’ Our government has the legal right to govern without external countries involved. We don’t individually get a say on everything.
The data shows Brexit was a massive mistake and badly hurt the economy. We're all paying for it. It was Nigel Farage who sold the lies that it would make life better. How can anyone still listen to him about anything?
Has the UK ever had or wanted a ‘single culture’? What about Welsh, Scottish, Irish, Cornish. Scouse, Geordie, Brummie cultures to name but a few. Or the Italians who came to work in our mines, Poles who fought with us and stayed, Indian doctors or chefs?
Robert Peston, "Where are you on the banning of Maccabi fans?"
Zack Polanski, "I'm Jewish, I take antisemitism really seriously"
"I don't think banning Maccabi fans is antisemitic at all"
Robert Peston, "Your deputy leader said he wanted to see a boycott of Israeli sports teams. You can't endorse that, can you?"
Zack Polanski, "I absolutely endorse that"
"The same with Russia. We're seeing an ongoing genocide. Athletes that play, under a state banner or a city in Israel, is deeply problematic at this time"
Robert Peston, "You have to accept Israel as a democracy. You're basically punishing innocent citizens"
Zack Polanski, "Protestors on the flotilla recently were subject to torture, kept in dark rooms all day, were not treated, how any democracy would treat them"
Robert Peston, "Annoyingly, I'm out of time"
