@Geestargames Honestly sometimes I see some of the a*sholes that "make it" and it makes me think, what's the point? I've always felt like I can tell when someone's a manipulator and it f*cking kills me when others can't see it, too.
The physiognomy of start screens.
The start screen of a game can reveal a lot about how rushed the team was and how much pride they took in their work.
Starfield's start screen either shows hasty shipping deadlines by a passionate team overworked, or a team that didn't care.
Unreal how some people seem to think that when Game = Popular, Spoiler = OK!
Note that "I've reached <story beat>, and I'm slow!" is not a valid reason to blab about it.
@RabtasticPaints I've accepted that I'll never get there, and that's OK. It's OK, you hear me?! It's FINE! Still stings a bit whenever I'm over the moon at hitting 10 viewers & people are looking down on partners.
@onikascumragg@King_Sukunaaa It's a Junior High test paper in Japan where the middle finger is not used in this way by almost anyone, I think this is pretty unlikely.
I packed my PC for the flat move today and I keep finding myself entering my office thinking, "I'll play Baldur's Gate 3 for a bit!" then staring sadly at the empty space for a few seconds before leaving the room.
#BG3 and #dnd5e are not the same experience. As a DM, your writing does not have to be as good as the game's. What makes D&D so amazing is that you and your players write the story together. Players have true agencyโwhich Baldur's Gate can not facilitate.
@RissaBot2000 @ToddKenreck BG3 and D&D are not the same experience. While BG3's writing is great, that's also true of the best DMs. What makes D&D amazing is *true player agency*, something that even BG3 lacks. You and your players write the story together.
