Today, the Government of Rwanda and the Government of Kenya signed an MoU for the importation of refined petroleum products through the Northern Corridor. This will enable Rwanda to source its bulk petroleum products using Kenya's infrastructure for transportation and storage.

Today, Prime Minister Nsengiyumva virtually addressed the opening ceremony of the Lesotho National Leadership Forum, which was officiated by Prime Minister Samuel Matekane of Lesotho.
In his remarks, Prime Minister Nsengiyumva shared Rwanda’s experience in governance and national transformation, while highlighting the strong partnership between Lesotho and Rwanda.
“We particularly value the exchanges that have taken place between Lesotho and Rwanda in recent years, including our participation in Lesotho’s National Leadership Retreat, which reflect our shared commitment to learning from one another’s experiences. We are eager to strengthen these ties for the benefit of our people.”

Today, Prime Minister Nsengiyumva, on behalf of President Paul Kagame, virtually participated in the High-Level Meeting of African Heads of State, Governments and Partners on the Ebola Outbreak.
Highlighting Rwanda’s preparedness, the Prime Minister noted: “Rwanda remains Ebola-free thanks to deliberate investments in preparedness and resilient public health systems. We have strengthened surveillance, screening, laboratory capacity, emergency response mechanisms, and public awareness to safeguard public health.”
