Also I have filed a complaint to Environmental Health and Tower Hamlets themselves. I haven't heard back from this complaint but others have said it worked for them, so hopefully this also gets things moving. Thanks for all the advice so far

This is an obvious health and safety issue and a failure to provide adequate housing if it's not dealt with. We urged our landlord to contact @TowerHamletsNow
to deal with the issue. They provided us with this: a plank of wood, held up by a stick. 2/x

Two and a half years ago we reported a leak in our living room roof to our landlord. This is what we are obligated to do via our rental agreement and he is, both morally and legally, obligated to sort it. He did nothing. In March of this year, the ceiling collapsed. 1/x

Then, after the surgery is successful, she will have a very strong hand in going after Cigna for reimbursement.

If Vanderbilt is truly confident, they should roll the dice.
