My husbands colleague is getting married today, so I travelled the way down yesterday cause let’s say I am kinda close to the lady(helped him plan the engagement, so we bonded from there). Getting here, I was heavily stained. Contd

But as I didn’t respond she felt stupid and was trying to nau speak to me. The main reason I am dropping this here is because when thing happened, I thought to myself “Favour, you see another reason why you should not banter with people online especially

Because I realized the kind of mindset and mentality she has. My father in-law would refer to them as “little people”. I just told myself that’s who she was and put her there. Maybe she was expecting to start trading words with her and all

Now the shouting lady was nau looking for a way to speak to me. Trying to laugh at any little thing I say to get my attention and all. I promise you, I just acted like she didn’t exist. Infact I didn’t act. She didn’t exist to me again.

The bridal shower was still on, I didn’t say a word to any of them especially the girl that was shouting about the pad. I just stayed in the room cause of the bride. I didn’t even act like anything happened, I just vibed along with the people I came with.

I immediately went inside and gave her the pad, cause luckily for me, I hadn’t used it. Planned on using it in the morning cause someone gave me pad already (one of us that travelled together) narrated the stuff to her and she had an extra pad.

Initially I didn’t even know she was referring to me. As I passed. The bridesmaid that bought the pad walked up to me that her fellow bridesmaid were complaining about the pad I took😂😂😂. PAD???? LADYCARE 3 PIECES?? THATS WHY SHE’A SCREAMING LIKE THAT?😂

The bridesmaid was reluctant but me seeing it was much and will go round them and even remain, coupled with my predicament at that point, I took one pack and left the room for them to continue their bridal shower. I was coming back and heard one them shouting

In her hotel room, I saw a bag filled with lots of ladycare pad, like enough (the mini pack of 3). Asked her if it was hers. She said no. Apparently the bridesmaid were doing this gift exchange. I explained myself to the bridesmaid and asked her for one.

Who remember Pastor Taiwo Odukoya? A man I never met one-on-one but was responsible for my life transformation.

He lost his first wife, Pastor Bimbo Odukoya, to Sosoliso plane crash that happened in 2005. 60 Loyola Jesuit secondary school students also died in that crash. 110 passengers were on board with 109 losing their lives. Only 1 survivors who is still alive today. It was the deadliest crash ever in Nigeria history, It was a sad day for our nation.

Pastor Taiwo Odukoya remarried in 2010. 5 years after the demise of his first wife, Pastor Bimbo. He married Rosemary Lulu, South African Pastor.

Pastor Rosemary later died of cancer on 9th November 2021, r 16yrs after Pastor Taiwo first wife passed on. On the 30th of December, 2021, he lost his twin Sister Mrs Kehinde Hassan (Née Odukoya).

These events left him devastated and he eventually developed some ailments which lasted for some months before he was flown to the United State for medical attention. He eventually gave up the ghost in August, 2023,

His church, Fountain of life church, Ilupeju is today Pastored by his first son, Jimmy Odukoya and his daughter, Tolu Odukoya.

May his gentle soul continue to rest in peace.
