WE’RE GOING TO THE GENERAL ELECTION.
Today, we moved into second place and ensured we’ll be in November’s election.
Roughly 60% of California’s 4th District voted for change — voted against one of the most establishment, corporate-funded incumbents in California.
It is clear: CA-4 is ready for a new generation of leadership. One that fights to change our political system. One that fights to deliver real solutions, more housing, affordable healthcare, and lower costs. One that fights for the American Dream.
Thank you to every voter, volunteer, donor, and supporter who has helped build this movement. The next chapter starts now. Let’s do this 👊 see you at the polls in November!
Congrats to @RyanForRecovery on advancing from the NV AD-09 primary. 🗳️
State and district races define 2026. Change Research polls districts with as few as 300 respondents. Fast results. Movable voters identified, not just partisan splits.

Voters want experience, not political royalty.
Change Research surveyed 1,588 likely voters to understand political red or green flags:
✅ Governor experience = green flag
😐 Total outsider = mostly neutral
🚩 Political dynasty/family connections = red flag (across parties)
This!! On it's best day, polling is an accurate snapshot of public opinion at a single point in time. On it's worst day, it's writing a survey instrument that aims to give you the answer you want and then cherry picking results for a public memo to influence the donor class.
🚩 No initial ballot test of Platner vs. Collins
🚩 No ballot test of any kind of Mills vs. Collins
🚩 No Dem primary ballot
If you’re an org backing Mills trying to push a narrative that Platner is unelectable with hard numbers, sorry but you’re gonna have to show your work.
Jennifer Welch: “The Republican Party has done such a good job propagandizing that if you need anything from the government, you’re a lazy piece of shit and a moocher — when really the parasites in this country are the billionaires.”
Initial reaction to The Report™️: are Democrats actually behaving more liberal, or have Republicans just done an exceptional job branding Democrats as more liberal?
A small window into shutdown politics in one poll question:
Approval by *Democratic voters* of how Democrats in Congress are handling their job has surged, per Quinnipiac poll.
October 2025: 58% approval
July 2025: 39% approval
People don't get why Mamdani works. It's substance, not slickness. Mamdani explains how and why the stuff works the way it does.
In this Talarico video, by contrast, he doesn't actually explain how tariffs translate into higher prices. It's just Kamala Harris-like gobbledygook.
What we're seeing with Platner is what happens when ordinary people run for office, not lab grown ivy league graduates who have been fixated on running for public office since high school
What strategy does win? Acknowledging the lived experiences and pains Americans feel every day living in unsafe communities and presenting a SMART on crime approach that invests in solving the root causes of crime before it happens. That's how you build trust on this issue.
Telling DEMs that they need to be "tough on crime" is giving into the GOP's false choice when it comes to public safety in America. "Tough on crime" is not the strategy successful municipal candidates in big cities are using to win. https://t.co/su2WGLedU1
