We didn’t do very well in the Grand National this year. Only one of our horses finished but came nowhere!

It's Mum's birthday today. We did presents this morning, we had cake and prosecco this afternoon and we’ll have a nice dinner next week.

The weather is awful lately, grey and lots of rain. But it’s a good excuse for hot chocolate. Bad for the diet but very enjoyable!

I have retired! Today was my last day at work. I retire officially at the end of the month but I have holiday to use. A few days relaxing then I have a nice long list of things to do to keep me busy!

After all the lovely weather this last week or so it’s turned chilly, grey and a bit wet for the Bank holiday. Still I have a four day weekend as I was off on Friday too!
