despite having taken these measures against her, i am still fearful for my safety, the safety of my fans at my shows, as well as my peers and friends within the industry. it's time to stop sweeping this behaviour under the rug and call for action.

the obsession heightened earlier this year when i discovered that she had planned to break into the venue of my concert in la of march this year. i immediately filed a restraining order against her which is still in place.

it has been over a year since i was made aware of jessie j's frightening interest in me. it wouldn't be too much to call it an obsession. constant attempts to contact me through management, uncovering my personal contact details, attending my shows and trying to get backstage...

normally i wouldn't comment on such matters but as so many are speaking up, i feel it is my responsibility to do the same to help further alert everyone to a very real danger. given the atrocities committed by artists within the industry in recent years, we cannot be complacent.
