Day 13 of teaching you all about #lightpainting tube photography — “the circle” is (in my humble opinion) the most popular light shape in the light-painting tube photography world, it looks kinda simple bit in fact it’s quiet complex to make.

in order to place it over the tube u r are using to paint you will need to cut it all along the tube (not in half), because the tape and the rigidness of the tube it may need some strength, my advice is to use big scissors or a pizza cutter.

Day 10 of teaching u all about #lightpainting tube photography — created by @ericpare and @kimhenry in 2025, the “big circle” is made by using 2 tubes held together by the ends, in order to keep a solid grip u can use elastics so it wont be extra movement

Day 4 of teaching u #lightpainting tube photography — partially blocking the light has some very interesting results, but what if I tell u that if u use a tube wrapped in duct tape you’ll add a little light gap?
Day 1 of teaching you all about #lightpainting tube photography — how do I come out with odd light-shapes? That is one of the questions I get the most, simply by using a “remote switch”, it allows me to turn on or off the flashlight at will.
