@MavsFilmRoom Don't forget NY got a draft pick taken away for tampering...clearing cap space ahead of time (when they heard he didn't get a contract extension offer) hiring his dad as an assistant coach and talking to him well before free agency even started. He was always going to be a Knick
Look, JB was always going to the NY. Yes, we failed to offer him a rookie extension early in the season but he was always leaving for NY. NY's President Leon Rose was his former agent, they hired his dad as an assistant coach, & even cleared cap space knowing he was unhappy in DAL. NY even got a draft pick taken away for tampering because they were talking to him well before free agency even started. Dude didn't want to be a Mav so all of that discourse needs to stop. #MFFL #MFFLAGG
@SleeperMemphis@JoeMullinax I'm not a Grizzlies fan but as a fan of the sport I realize those deals look like shit as far as being competitive immediately but you'd be fun to watch and your future would be looking bright as hell
@BEsmitty73@All_Things_Mavs Sources? If its true I like it bc Handy knows his stuff and is amazing in player development. I still think a HC should be there to have some input though.
@scootmonkey12@NationMffl That's my assumption as well. But the mocks have been crazy and I'm optimistic there might be a trade or 2 in that 5-8 range. Also a lot of smoke about Ament to the Nets. But, if we're left choosing between Kingston and Burries I'll still be happy.
Great article by @SportsSturm on Kingston Vs. Burries. Excellent break down on their respective games and fit on their possible fit on the @dallasmavs#MFFL#MFFLAGG

I can't believe Zuby Ejiofor isn't getting more mainstream attention in the 2026 NBA Draft. This is a player that, outside of shooting, doesn't have other major red flags. Normally, I'd be concerned about a forward that hasn't proven he's a shooting threat beyond what he did in a senior season. BUT... Ejiofor at 6'9" with a 7'2" wingspan at 245 lbs. has the strength and length to operate as a small-ball five in different capacities. Put that together with his ball handling as a four man who can take mismatches off the dribble, punish them in the post, and plays the offensive glass well to create second-chance scoring opportunities, and you have a pathway to generate offense outsdie of just camping on the wing or in the corners. You can play him in handoff actions, pick-and-roll, and even as a passing threat from the top of the floor. Zuby's 23% assist rate is a mark I'd be happy with from a combo guard or wing! He can cover almost any position on the floor defensively and has standout defensive playmaking metrics for a player his size and build. Having a player like Zuby is a luxury off the bench in today's NBA. He should be in firm consideration for a Top 25 pick, possibly Top 20.
@KevinOConnor And he only started playing basketball 3 years ago at 16. He's eligible for this years draft but he'll probably wait a year or 2 and I guarantee the Spurs will snatch him up for Wemby like Milwaukee did for Giannis
