@d3alux@WootingKB 1. It looks like a scissor/short travel switch (=faster actuation)
2. It’ll be slower on subsequent presses (which this doesn’t measure)
3. It performs terrible with multiple keys pressed
Especially on key release. Which is the key point of Rapid Trigger.
Otherwise, not bad.
@IOSamFranco@WootingKB That won't be happening . Wooting is my playground with two great friends and a growing team of people that are equally enjoying it.
@14xfounder @nikitabier This kind of works. But starting 4yo kid needs that stability, predictability, and relations from an increasingly larger environment.
You should be integrating with the local community/school not isolate with other nomads/expats that are unlikely to stick around. Imo
@sharkosaurfps @aoshijima Exactly, this is not to say that the factory can’t create a solid firmware, but it is to say that there is no inherent knowledge/skill in this department with any of these brands, so you can’t put very low expectations on a new features or improvements added after delivery.
@darealmvp1337@randomfrankp@OptimumTechYT He tested the mice out of the box. If it comes with high debounce out of the box, why not have it delivered with the low debounce?
I can tell you why. Their defect rates would increase significantly due to double clicks, defeating the purpose of having a debounce to start with.
Question of the year.
I ran de economics in my head.
Either the most stressful business model ever with high sponsor dependency coupled with chicken egg issues.
Or
So diversified that all the income essentially comes from brand attached to name your product or content deals.
@PeterSweden7 Linear thinking 🤡 you’ll end up stale mating every solution because you can’t predict the future and just multiply existing thoughts and ideas. The world doesn’t work like that.
Hot take. I’m absolutely enjoying the rollercoaster of “things” happening on twitter. It was stale.
If Twitter goes down the drain, what is that to us? I’m sure a competitor will pick up the pieces at no loss to us at all.. not to mention nobody earning real $$ on twitter.
A bit shallow to only look at hardware cost.
Marketing, (software) development, and after market service should be taken into account before discrediting what’s charged.
Then each company you’ll find out where that markup goes (often it’s marketing).
💡👉Even if you don't get a Glorious mouse, at least don't get ripped off. We know how much mice cost to make (including generally what it costs other companies)...if they're charging $125+ MSRP for a mass-produced mouse, you're getting fleeced on huge markups.
