Caldwell Fire responded to a structure fire this afternoon. The resident was able to safely evacuate and firefighters got a thorough knockdown on the fire. Cause was determined to be heavily oiled rags in the dryer.

Caldwell Fire responded to a single vehicle accident this morning. No injuries to report. The Region 3 Hazmat Team is currently on scene mopping up a fuel spill in Sand Hollow Creek.
With fog lingering, we ask all drivers to slow down and be mindful of winter weather conditions.

2022 year in review: Caldwell Fire Department had 44 firefighters who responded to 7,321 calls. Per capita, that is 166 calls per member.

Though these numbers continue to grow, our firefighters look towards 2023 with a continued commitment to rapid response and patient care.
