Our students have been working incredibly hard on their ISASP testing. After each session, the 5th graders take a "Victory Lap" around the school to celebrate finishing another test!
They are giving it their all, and we are so proud of them. 👏
Fifth grade students explored exciting chemical reactions in science class with Mrs. Clark and Mr. Langner. 🧪
It was so much fun discovering how acid reacted with different materials!

Just some fun while we wait to get back into our building from the flood damages.
This popped up on my memories! Still one of my favorite teaching memories- getting @CollegeGameDay to notice our Elementary’s mock Game Day table.. to then be featured, LIVE, on the day of was amazing!! A memory I hope the students will truly cherish! 🫶🏻
Mr. Langner’s class enjoyed a fun coffee shop book tasting!
Students sipped on “coffee” or refresher drinks while sampling different genres. They relaxed & explored, trying to find their next great read. 📖☕
A special shoutout to Spencer Hy-Vee Starbucks for donating the cups!
Today we had our meeting for Lincoln’s fall plan. Ideal? No…but, I sure am proud of this community and its resilience in such devastation… this is no exception! 💪🏼Lincoln may physically be separated, but we are still OUR Lincoln family!🐯 #SpencerStrong#TigerPride@spencercsd
I just continue to be devastated by the flooding in NW Iowa, especially my home community of Spencer. My school has flood damage, friends and family have lost everything. It’s so heartbreaking 💔

These keychains turned out so good! The kids loved them too! One side had them looking into the “Words of Affirmation” mirror. The personalized touch made them feel special (and it was so affordable to make😉)!
This teacher (me 🤪) was having a rough week, due to some personal reasons. I came back into my room from being gone and my students made me this. Happy Tears were shed. They know I’m a swiftie @taylorswift13 🖤💜🖤
Jeans everyday.
Having teachers pay to wear them on a special day is insult to injury.
If it's okay one day a week. It's okay all the time. We teach kids, jeans are appropriate attire.
Asking teachers to pay for the "privilege" when they are underpaid has to be the most ridiculous thing ever.
Join us in welcoming our new teachers, smiling alongside Mr. Hemann on their first day of school at Spencer. Here's to a year of knowledge and growth! 💜💛
Teachers- it’s okay to not remember your “why” sometimes it’s just best to remember your “self”
Take care of yourself as school work starts back up. We’ve got this 💪💪
