Today is a great day to be grateful for the fellowship of the saints!

Not too worried about angry young men when this is how a professor at @Hillsdale carries himself. It’s nearly becoming harassment at this point.
If Hart was a young elder he’d likely be under charges already for this kind of behavior. @james_d_baird has been the epitome of a gentleman and this is the kind of thing he’s had to put up with.
Would like to see better from representatives of the @OrthodoxPC
@ussoccer problem is bias, nepotism, and over-reliance on fundamentals to the point where it stuns creativity.
I remember being at an ODP camp around 2015, the same ODP camp I got called back for our regional team tryout—so overall I was playing well.
I was a center back during this game, and I remember playing a long through ball to our striker, I was standing just behind midfield, and right next to the “coach”.
Well, the ball beat their back line, and our striker was in on goal for a 1v1 with the keeper (it was a great ball). The coach didn’t see that because he immediately yelled (no exaggeration) at me for not swinging it around the back. Once I pointed out we almost scored, he continued to chastise me.
Many more stories with US Soccer, academy development, etc. all similar.
U.S soccer fans screaming that our problem is LeBron James doesn’t play soccer. (Messi is 5’7, Maradona was 5’5)
Total U.S youth soccer players: 20 million (Belgium is 400k)
Stop blaming the youth or access to the game. My Son’s U-15 team in Memphis was better than U-15 Man City. (My Son trailed there for weeks so I saw the difference up close)
The breakdown in U.S soccer starts about that age group. Clear pathway for EU players.
In U.S., the U.S Soccer monopoly puts their kids on the national team which gets them big clubs in EU. (Ask yourself how the team had a former coaches Son and a former Director of U.S Soccer on the pitch last night)
The current up and coming U15 star is the U.S Soccer announcers Son.
Soccer is a sport many players can fake it. We have an entire team of Nepo babies stealing living. (Outside of a few)
And despite having so many youth players we still scrounge Europe looking for anyone with a U.S passport .
The U.S Should be winning the World Cup by now but the monopoly that controls MLS and U.S Soccer is failing the country.
It’s not the kids.
“Well his name was Folarin Balogun, that’s a mouthful isn’t it? And they gave him a red card. Very unfair. Very nasty. So I called up FIFA and I said ‘FIFA you better give us our guy back’ and they did. And they did it so fast it’d make your head spin. But it turns out he’s an anchor baby so we’re gonna deport him after the World Cup. We have to do it.”
“There is no room in this country for hyphenated Americanism... Americanism is a matter of the spirit and of the soul. Our allegiance must be purely to the United States. We must unsparingly condemn any man who holds any other allegiance.” - Theodore Roosevelt
Why would a church sacrifice the end (glorifying God) for an instrument (money) that exists to support the means to that end (in this case, corporate worship).
If the instrument is preserved at the expense of the end, it appears the instrument has become the end.
