A lot of the people who got sucked into this movement by the flattery and confidence games of the people running it already know they made a bad call. The problem is their pride, their ego, and the fear of losing status and credibility are still stronger than any willingness to admit it and do what actually needs to be done for the country.

*Christian Nationalism is just Roman Catholic Integralism with Protestant characteristics.
