When it's all said & done, the record book will tell us that Caleb Fields had a special career at Arkansas State.

No one in @AStateMB program history started more games than @calebfields_ . Only the legendary Chico Fletcher dished out more dimes. Only Marquis Eaton appeared in more games (although with a deep tournament run he can be caught). Fields is the all-time leader in free throws attempted & 2nd in FTs made. He currently ranks 8th in career points, 8th in steals, and is one of just three players ever at #AState to score 1000+ points, grab 300+ rebounds, and tally 400+ assists.

But the stat books never tell the whole story.

There will be no metric that sums up Fields' toughness & will to play at A-State; no stat for how many games he played with a broken wrist, how many miles of tape went around those ankles, how many 40-minute games he turned in because there was no on who could sub in off the bench.

He's played broken, beat up, and bruised, but as long as he could physically stand up, he gave it a go.

He's wrapping up his #AState career in spectacular fashion. Nobody in the Sun Belt this year has scored more points in a single game (35 vs Texas St), had a game where they dished out more assists (13 vs ULM), or recorded more steals (6 vs Texas St). Fields has five games of double-digit assists this season while the entire rest of the league has five combined.

There are just two more chances to see Fields play in a Red Wolves jersey in Jonesboro. I hope you're planning to take advantage of both.
