NEW: EU politicians are pushing for the censorship of pro-life ideas online. ⬇️
In recent years, ADF has warned about the EU effort to control and censor the internet—not just in Europe, but around the world.
Now we’re getting a glimpse of what a Brussels-controlled internet would look like.
Recently, more than 65 members of the European Parliament officially questioned the European Commission about chatbots—such as ChatGPT, Grok, and Claude—that don’t consistently parrot pro-abortion talking points.
Rather than exclusively citing government or pro-abortion sources, these MEPs complained, some chatbots are directing users to pro-life content. Framing this as a threat to “the health, safety and fundamental rights of people in Europe,” these MEPs invoked the Digital Services Act, asking: “what steps has [the Commission] taken to investigate and address this issue?”
If there were ever any doubt that the EU’s censorship efforts are aimed at narrative control—not mere “online safety”—those doubts should now be put to rest.
Pro-life views have every right to compete in the online marketplace of ideas.
And free speech advocates everywhere must push back against EU censorship if they want that marketplace to remain open and free.
The Biden effort to rewrite the definition of sex in Title IX died in early 2025, when two federal courts vacated the proposed rule nationwide. This week, the Trump administration put the final nail in its coffin, formally removing the inaccurate language from the federal code. We’re grateful to @usedgov for removing the last vestiges of this illegal overreach from its regulations. We’re also grateful for the many courageous state attorneys general, our clients, and allies who worked with @ADFLegal to litigate these cases and defeat the Biden Title IX overreach in court. Now let's continue to uproot gender ideology and restore biological truth for our kids. That includes getting men out of girls’ sports and spaces in all 50 states, for good.
Today, I’ll have the privilege of arguing before an en banc panel of the 9th Circuit.
@ADFLegal is representing a Christian homeless ministry in Washington state. We’re challenging the State’s unprecedented attempt to determine who is religiously qualified to serve at a church or ministry— coercion that threatens to drive religious groups out of public life.
Our job is to make sure that doesn’t happen. I value your prayers. ⬇️
