#ExtremeWeather is putting women & girls at more risk of human rights abuses including DV, sexual abuse & exploitation. "ClimateCrisis is getting worse & the international community mustn't neglect the specific vulnerabilities & needs of women & girls," @calebngombo@PSGRBlantyre
Glad to provide leadership to CSOs undertaking advocacy at the Constitutional Court in which a Dutch national Wim Akster is brought to court to account for his actions for sodomizing underage boys while saving as finance manager with a Dutch NGO. He is answering multiple charges
These are boy children who were benefiting from school bursaries from him, and extremely vulnerable from dropping out of school, if no one provided for them. We are only praying the panel of judges will not lose sight of this element. It is defilement under the laws of Malawi
We are at the court, reviewing a case of Wim Akster, whether its constitutional to prosecute him for having sexual intercourse with boys. Our worry, is that the arguments so far has gross potential to lose sight of the fact that he is accused of sleeping with underage boys
So excited to share a wide range of incredible bags made by our team of survivors at our centre in Blantyre. These bags are available at any time and proceeds will be used by the women so they are independent. Reach out [email protected]
Read the final blog in our series about the impact of COVID19 on local faith actors' anti-human trafficking work.

#SexWork#SexWorkIsWork?!
A year and a half ago, I bought 4 new front teeth for a 21 year old woman in #prostitution whose were all broken by a John who smashed up her face.
A job like any other? Please!

🇿🇦 Is "sell your body!" the only option the @Min_JCS can offer to marginalised women?
SA plans to decriminalise the prostitution system, including pimps & buyers. We support the decrim & protection of prostituted persons, not their exploiters. Petition⬇️https://t.co/g3hajkZ2jQ
Today, #CAT75 experts reviewed Malawi’s record on torture for the 1st time. They condemned the dire prison conditions and the increased gender-based violence by police. They asked for the abolition of the death penalty and a proper definition of torture in national law.
Join us NEXT SATURDAY (15 Oct) for a brilliant day of feminist discussion about the reality of the prostitution industry & the impact of its normalisation on young people in particular.
