If polls continue to show Trump in a competitive matchup with Biden, it will be increasingly difficult for the Republican candidates to pull voters away from him. Too many in the GOP aren't focused on principles anymore. To them, it's simply about winning.

The problem with that is that betting on Trump hasn't been a winning strategy as the GOP lost in 2018, 2020, 2021 (Georgia Runoff Election) and 2022.
