NEW: Just 6% of eligible Ontario voters cast early ballot in advance polls this year, bolstering fears of a low voter turnout.
As a result of the snap election there were only 3 days of advanced voting, down from 10 in regular election cycles.

Doug Ford keeps fumbling—housing, healthcare, education, the Greenbelt, grocery prices. The only team he’s scoring for? Trump & his billionaire buddies.
🏈 Marit Stiles & the @OntarioNDP are on your team. #FordFumbles#ONDP#ChiefsKingdom#SuperBowlLIX
Step one of resisting Trump? Vote out his most powerful supporter in Ontario.
Ford is eager to bend to the will of a bully. He thinks we’re already beat.
It’s time for leaders who believe in the power of Team Ontario’s everyday people and won’t back down. @OntarioNDP ✊️🍊
The downloading of responsibility from the province to municipalities is not sustainable or affordable. Billions of property tax dollars are diverted each year to pay for provincial programmes, driving up your tax bill.
The province should pay their own bills, not you. #OnPoli
We all knew @fordnation loved @realDonaldTrump.
Here’s a video of him admitting to fellow PC candidates that he got utterly bamboozled by him.
Is Doug Ford really the guy to #ProtectOntario?
Absolutely not.

Doug Ford knew Trump wanted a piece of Canada and still cheered him on.
Why not? Ford hands out pieces of Ontario all the time:
Therme. Loblaws. Staples. Elon Musk’s Starlink.
He’s shown us who he’s in this for. Now he’s telling us. Stand up for Ontario. @OntarioNDP
When people show you who they are believe them!!!!
If you think that Ford will “save” us from Trump you need to give your head a shake.
His family supports MAGA, he has always supported Trump.
He will sell all of us out in a heartbeat.
We need real leadership.
NEW: Doug Ford's hot mic moment. Caught saying he wanted Donald Trump to beat Kamala Harris:
"On election day, was I happy this guy won? One hundred per cent I was. Then the guy pulled out the knife and f—-ing yanked it in me."

St. Catharines Councillor @calebratzlaff and I will be hosting a webinar this Thursday, January 23. We'll share our experiences of entering politics and talk about what it's like to represent downtown communities. Register at https://t.co/dc6q0OqwUj. #HamOnt@brockualumni
NEW: Two years after the Ford government tasked one of its agencies with offering strategic advice on an attainable housing program, the policy remains dormant and the province says it is still working on a definition for the term.

@HappyCanadian55@JennieStevens_@communitycarest Jennie Stevens is an MPP fighting for Niagara at Queen’s Park in Toronto, where Ford’s Conservatives continue to fail us on healthcare, housing, and affordability.
Trudeau works in Ottawa. In Ontario, the Liberals aren't even the official opposite.
Anyone else tired of the "we tried nothing and we're all out of ideas" crowd? These mayors could have demanded Ford restore the chronic homelessness funding he cut in his first term. Instead they campaigned to take away the human rights of their most at-risk citizens.
@JamesCulic @ungerkyle The ODSP recipients I work with would gladly accept $200, but they know it’s a measly sum with little impact on their day-to-day challenges.
We need the tools to work through encampments that are rampant with prolific drug use and violence affecting our communities. We are asking the province to take action now toward a long-term, permanent solution to treat addictions and restore safety to our parks and streets.
@JamesCulic When the average 1 bedroom apartment monthly rent is close to $1500, gas is $1.50 a litter, never mind the average weekly grocery bill, I think it’s safe to call a one time payment of $200 “measly.”
