Anti-natalism is a philosophy I am slowly adopting. No point creating another locus of endless suffering. It can end with me. The fact that you create a human, a being that is conscious of its own suffering and inevitable death, is just cruel to me
If this were the case, the president would spend more time doing real work that people who understand at that level will see than launching transformers and markets because now he needs the uninformed people in the grassroots to see him to be working.
Kenya needs to move away from Universal Suffrage. Representative democracy should be incremental at every stage where people elect representatives at their grassroot to vote for them at the next level and so on. More accountability, more informed voting.
WW2 was only like 80 years ago. We are still the same humans, and we can easily destroy everything we have built. And I'm worried to see a country that can't allow 93.2 million people living 8000 miles away across the Atlantic live and be led by whoever they want.
What if instead of small insignificant improvements on every sector each year, we choose a different sector per year to max out to world-class levels by increasing its budget by like 10 times while we cut budget massively on others without killing them.
Africa is experiencing brain drain in real time. Our most brilliant minds are leaving us. This is delaying our progression and leaving us 2 steps behind. Let us stop exporting our best people.
The human mind sure has insane and sometimes even remote creative power. How things like hypnosis and manifesting work is just nuts. This should be the starting point of studying the supernatural because no way our closest cousins in the animal kingdom are that dumb.
It's enslaving to spend a whole lifetime chasing money at the expense of other things, yet liberating to see how otherwise impossible situations can be turned around by throwing a few dollars at them.
@FabrizioRomano@MikeKeegan_DM I was wrong about Carrick. It's dawning on me that modern management isn't about being a disciplinarian. New generation of players don't thrive on that environment anymore. Kudos Carrick.
@HonMoses_Kuria@citizentvkenya@inoorotv Mount K will slowly gravitate towards Mp Ndindi Nyoro in the hour of the 3rd wave who with his party will join the Sifuna-Babu faction of ODM who will have the Luo vote. That is most likely your next government.
@kibeandy Term limit protects us from eternal rogueness. Why not just eliminate universal suffrage and make everything representative at every level. Why are citizens electing the prezzo directly, how puny is that.
@lynn_ngugi1 Very easy to blame it on a few politicians. I think the whole thing is broken from within. We live in a society where ethical standards at every level are in the pits. Subsequently, we don't care about ethics when voting, any crook can therefore entice voters.
@morarakebaso The 2005 referendum created a split, Kibaki and Raila fell out, that campaign performed the initial mobilization of ethnic blocs, 2 years later the tribal politics were cooked further, result was bloodshed. Hope that answers your qn
@elonmusk I would agree because when someone in my country(Kenya) relocates to the US., it is a common thing for people on the streets to say when referring to them, "Even that one went to wash old people abroad"
