The autistic experience of being blamed for a misunderstanding when you communicated clearly and directly while the other person communicated vaguely and indirectly.
J.K. Rowling spent years telling the world she was standing up for women. Then she turned around and defended posting an up-skirt photo of a trans woman by saying she โchose to dress that way.โ Women have been fighting that excuse for decades. It has always been victim blaming and it still is. Your principles donโt get to change based on who the target is. If this excuse is unacceptable when itโs used against one woman, itโs unacceptable when itโs used against any woman. Where do you draw the line between activism and public humiliation?

YouTube takes your money for 'ad-free' and then tells you that the ads inside the videos from creators don't count!
So we pay $20 a month to escape ads, only for the creator to sell us Pepsi or NordVPN?
This lawsuit needs to win, otherwise the subscription is just a legal scam
what does the inside of your head sound like. because i just found out other people have silence in there. i have full conversations. i sing songs. i replay old conversations. i argue with people who aren't there. i had no idea this wasn't universal.
@EllipticalMan@LuciaLobosvilla From about 6, I used to read before going to sleep every night. I read the Hobbit when I was 8, and finished Lord of the Rings aged 11 having taken nearly a year to complete it. I would aim for a chapter every day or so. Treat it as 6 small books (it is) and it's not too bad.
It's perfectly simple, nondisabled people have the full ability to manage the entire public transport system as it is, many disabled people can't do that, so in effect their commute is very much not 'exactly the same.
PSA: If you cohabitate with an ADHDer and hear them utter the phrase, "Iโm just going to put this in a safe spot so I don't lose it," you must intervene immediately. They are banishing that item to a shadow realm where it will never be seen again.
