Introducing myself to my son's teacher at back to school night and she asks my 7 yr old son:
"What is your mom good at?"
He says "Walking."
She says "Oh like power-walking?"
He says, "no just walking."
🤣
@lotsofuss Kids are good - school started up, there's one on a mission in the Philippines right now getting drenched and I've got one doing the home missionary training and he will leave for Brazil in about a week. Sorry to hear about your leg - ouch and must make things really difficult.
Utah hasn't had a competitive Senate general election in decades. But McMullin is making a race of it against Lee, closing to 5 points in a recent poll. @nataliewsj

It just makes sense. We need @EvanMcMullin at the table in Washington. Seriously - he's here at this moment -seeing our current challenges while being able to look ahead with the wisdom of what history has taught us. He listens and can build consensus. #VoteEvan#utpol
@SenMikeLee Debates are an important part of our election process and vetting candidates. Please set the date and time for the debate w/@allyforutah and @beckyforutah. I am looking forward to watching it.
Utah looks set to have its first competitive Senate race since 1976. My column on @EvanMcMullin's intriguing independent campaign: https://t.co/jQBPk7EHD2
Today Utah Democrats voted to join Evan McMullin’s independent coalition and NOT nominate a candidate for U.S. Senate. I’m proud to be part of this coalition. Together we can win this race and defeat Mike Lee. #utpol
I am running for UT House Dist. 15 (Layton/Kaysville/Syracuse) with the @UnitedUtahParty. I believe that the political division that is tearing our country apart can only be healed by election reforms that make every vote count. Please join me. https://t.co/Tkjx2o8XRr
@ghalling Well, when I plant my next batch I'll have the vision and courage to do it this way. Thank you. Makes a difference seeing such mature trees and so many of them.
So you really do prune pear trees like that?! I had read it in a book once, but I haven't been able to get myself to do it - I prune my pear trees like my peach trees. I'm doing it all wrong, but doesn't seem like I can correct it now.
