That was from a recent A3 screening...
I've asked the others in the cinema auditorium, which film music composer they like the most...
Unanimously... @simonfranglen, π₯³ whose name I blindly guess might appear most often in the end credits. π
And isn't his music just marvellous?! ππ€
Yes, it truly is.
Damn... now I have to wait until Tuesday for the next screening. π«
PS: Got my hair finally cut, now I only need blue skin and red colour to apply for a job in Team Blu. π

Youβre welcome. π
Always love to help people with (legally) getting their beloved rare[0] music.β¦ even more so when it comes to the marvellous music of James Horner π, who's definitely one of my personal top-level favourites (with only that guy who composed the Avatar 2 and 3 film music towering above all of them π).
[0] Of which there is faaaaar to many. π’
Dear @simonfranglen!
Maybe you know already, but if notβ¦ and since you were lucky enough to be a close friend of him[0]β¦
FSM and La-La Land produce some new recordings of James Hornerβs TV movie works:
https://t.co/UUSivgWRIh
1980s... I think βA Few Days in Weasel Creekβ was the first of these and from 1981β¦ so 45 years.
If it takes them so long to do full A2 and A3 I'd be 88 by then (or rather dead[1] already). π οΈ
[0] And I guess itβs fair to say: vice-versa he was lucky enough to be a close friend of yours. π
[1] And not in the good (βbe with Eywaβ) but earthy way.
@AvatarVerseUp β¦ it has been released by @IntradaCDs (ISC 401)β¦ but that's limited and sold out (I guess)β¦ there seem to be some offers ad Discogs (https://t.co/c5LvE2SAHx) and at least one on eBay (https://t.co/M8AV3IYbM7)β¦ canβt of course guarantee anything with respect to these offers.
I guess buying the physical CDs second hand should be perfectly legal. π
π€ How cool is thatβ¦ having brought[0] James Hornerβs music-spiritual successor to back a re-recording of his work. π
(Waaaay better than the producer credits theyβd offer at kickstarter. π)
Backed it, too, of course. π
Should you ever be able to do something like that for A1-n,... then what about:
- Super-Benefactor (includes copy of the recording sessions) for e.g. 5.000$
- Ultimate-Super-Benefactor (include 1 night of cuddling with the master tapes) for e.g. 10.000$?! π€£
Best wishes from see below (Avatar 2 number 249[1]). π€ͺπ€π
[0] btw: I hope itβs obvious that I did not tell you for trying to push you into supporting! π
[1] Will have my 250th A2 screening the 2nd week of June. ππΎ A3 approaches 160. π€
@simonfranglen@AvatarVerseUp@DiscussingFilm I still hope that @Disney eventually goes the other way round, too. I.e. doing a remake of Avatar 1-7 as animation.
Any guess which composer Iβd like to (re-)score these? ππ
Last Saturday , I also had my 150th cinema screening of #AvatarFireAndAsh. π₯³π€£
Now, after 150 times A3, it turns out there actually is one(!) score (of all in history) that is even better than @simonfranglen's Way of Water... you've guessed it, it's his Fire and Ash.
But... π
... there is also a single one better than his A3, which - defying all mathematical laws of commutativity and perhaps even transitivity - is of course his A2 score. π₯³
So A2 < A3 and A3 < A2. π€ͺ
Ahh... how I love them. π«
Thanks to Simon for composing/arranging/conducting/etc.. π€
(Both are of course closely followed in terms of greatness, by Horner's A1. π)
(PS: The last picture is obviously not from my 150th A3 but one of the A2 private screenings... just didn't fit into the previous post.)
Haven't had much time recently for posting (busy with som3 hardcore programming)... but for the last two weeks, I've had 2 further private cinema screenings of Avatar 2.
Would need to look it up, but I think I've already crossed the 245 now. π π€ͺ
Guess I'll never grow old of @JimCameron's wonderful world, even more so if Maestro @simonfranglen's outstanding film music plays along. πΌπ΅π
If only there'd be more of it. π₯
(Of and of course, I had more Avatar 3 in the cinema as well... double featur A2/3 is the best... now if only I'd also get a special dispense for Avatar 1.)
