A Budget of grand promises built on a mountain of debt 📉

The @VDSatheesan government's Budget is full of big announcements but offers no credible roadmap on how they will be funded, even as Keralam is already drowning in a staggering public debt of Rs 5.07 lakh crore.

This is Congress's first Budget.

It already betrays 3 of the Congress's 5 "Indira Guarantees" promises made by @RahulGandhi

❌️A Rs 25 lakh health insurance for every family promise has received a token Rs 10 crore allocation - which means 11 rupees and 11 paise per family for the 90 lakh Malayalee families. A fraud on people.

❌️ Welfare pension hike of Rs 3000 - Not done

❌️ Youth loan scheme of Rs 5,00,000 - Not done

Making grand promises without the intent to deliver is Congress politics. This budget almost implies that there will be massive privatization of public assets.

Malayalees deserve fiscal responsibility, honest governance, and real development - not being sold political dreams.

10 years ago, CPM came sold false promises of "Everything will become alright" - and left behind a devastated economy. Both CPM and Cong are one, no different. Randalla, Onnaanu!

Enemies in Keralam. Best friends in all other states.

The BJP/NDA has always said Congress and CPM are not two, but one. Randalla Onnanu.

In the Keralam Assembly, they accuse each other of having a "secret deal" with the BJP. Yet in rest of the country, they sit comfortably together in the same INDI Alliance.

How long do the @INCIndia and @cpimspeak think they can insult the intelligence of Malayalees with their fake rivalry?

Their objective is not delivering development and welfare for all, but preserving the political status quo that has benefited them for decades in Keralam.

Malayalees can now see through this hypocrisy.

The historic performance of the BJP/NDA in the Assembly elections marked the beginning of a new political chapter.

As I have said before, the next elections in Keralam will be a clear fight between two alliances: the BJP/NDA vs Congress/CPM’s INDI Alliance.
