I build technology products, volunteer as a National Forest ranger, and am a typical Bend, Oregon resident: an outdoor sports generalist who has two dogs.
Oh hey Twitter is still here. Maybe I’ll post one dog photo a day until we fade into oblivion. If this account’s only legacy after 20k+ tweets from the early days is just dog photos I won’t even be mad.
@MikeOffTheMap @AlaskaJill Same. I'm fully vaccinated and boosted and have never (knowingly) had COVID. But I did have a 2-3 day nasty flu-like thing the first week of March 2020.
@100peaks @katieboue truth. My healthiest cilantro plant is currently growing from the middle of my greenhouse floor from a dropped seed. The plants that are in good soil and carefully watered on a drip line are meh.
@lwaldal Ooh yikes except I just saw the price. I think they were $9.99 before. Anyways, something like this worked really well when I was in a cast for way too long during the summer.
@lwaldal Sounds so similar to my experience when I dislocated my ankle a couple of years ago, except I was lucky (???) enough to do it pre-COVID. Especially the nerve block part and getting med equipment on Amazon (still loaning out my pink knee scooter). Take care of yourself & kill PT!
@vendorprisey@johncutlefish 🤯 yes! Love the disapprove concept. Working on enterprise approval stuff now. Customers: “we want our managers to be able to approve stuff really quick. But also not too easy because can’t rubber stamp that stuff so make it kind of hard too. But just for the 5% that matter.”
