Happy New Year from Hedera! 🎉
Here’s to building a more trusted future in 2026.
Thank you to our global community of builders, customers, and partners for shaping what’s next.
🧵 Malaysia tokenization goes mainstream — and Hedera is already in the plumbing
Bank Negara Malaysia putting “asset tokenisation” on the table is a big signal: this is moving from fringe → financial infrastructure.
Key point from this post: tokenization isn’t just putting assets on a blockchain— it’s re-engineering settlement + compliance + auditability.
That’s why the line matters: a white-labelled asset tokenisation + AI compliance platform built on @hedera.
Permissioned by design
For institutions, that’s not a downside — it’s the requirement: controlled access, clear roles, enforceable rules.
Compliance-first, not compliance-later
If you’re serving banks/regulated entities, AML/KYC, reporting, and governance can’t be bolted on later.
Architected to integrate with regulated financial institutions, not disrupt them
This is the adoptable path: upgrade the rails without breaking the system.
Why Hedera fits this narrative:
fast finality + predictable fees + high throughput + strong security → practical for real settlement cycles and audit trails.
The interesting part: the conversation is happening at the level of development finance outcomes (SMEs, capital efficiency, liquidity unlocks)
that’s where real adoption starts.
Takeaway: Malaysia has a chance to shape tokenization credibly — inclusive, regulated, and scalable. And Hedera is showing up exactly where it matters: infrastructure, not hype.
🧵 “Blockchain in Aviation”
IRON SPIDR — Constellation Network in USTRANSCOM + CRAF Aviation Workflows
Aviation logistics is a high-friction environment: many parties, mission-critical timelines, and billing workflows where disputes and delays are costly. A new case study is being positioned exactly around that problem.
2/ On March 3, 2026 (Washington, DC), the Government Blockchain Association (GBA) will host the U.S. Capitol Hill Blockchain Showcase, including a press conference to release the report “Modernizing Systems with Blockchain to Prevent Fraud, Waste, and Abuse in Government.”
GBA states the report is released together with the UN Internet Governance Forum (IGF) Dynamic Coalition on Blockchain Assurance & Standardization (DC-BAS) (DC-BAS is also listed among IGF Dynamic Coalitions).
One highlighted aviation use case: USTRANSCOM coordination with Civil Reserve Air Fleet (CRAF) airlines (named: American, Delta, FedEx, United, UPS), aiming to reduce operational friction and improve payment certainty/trust.
The proposed solution in this use case is a pilot called Iron SPIDR — described as developed by @Conste11ation Network with smart-contract and data-exchange components from @SIMBAchain.
Important detail: it’s framed not as a replacement of airline/government systems, but as an overlay that anchors critical mission events (taskings, acknowledgments, contract actions) to an immutable, cryptographically signed ledger shared across authorized participants.
Technically, SIMBA frames Constellation as a Layer-0 interoperability layer (“chain of chains”) designed to move validated data across multiple networks, with redundancy in mind.
Independent coverage also frames the work as chain-agnostic, open-architecture, with a bridge for interoperability in a simulated DoD environment using Constellation’s L0 standard.
Additional signal: USTRANSCOM’s public RDT&E “Ongoing Projects” page lists IRON SPIDR (as a tracked project). Treat the aviation write-up as a pilot/use-case narrative until the full report provides more implementation detail.
No question @rob_nodl brought serious value to this year’s @Hedera Top 10 — especially his 🔥 take on stablecoins.
