@betqlapp@TheRobBrownShow@Decker6 high intensity/nearly max effort bullpens have less time between pitches, though, so why is a pitch clock where people are focusing their concern? Some guys just get hurt, and it's not like many of them don't have history of injury LONG before the pitch clock.
@sportalkerpod @MLBONFOX @BallySportWest @Angels exactly. If he was fully healthy and producing, they wouldn't be scrutinizing him. Luka Doncic said to some degree he doesn't really care about basketball, and he's pretty great. People only hate when you underperform, but before that it's all fanfare and butt-kissing.
@WinForVin94 @MLBONFOX @BallySportWest If they were good enough, they'd have his job. That's the crazy thing about pro sports. most people have no idea the gap between the guys at the top versus the guys trying to make it there. He CAN be a good ball player when healthy and capable of playing regularly.
@Websoulsurfer @MLBONFOX @BallySportWest you realize church isn't only on Sunday's right? Dude works hard and gets injured... then grilled by reporter as he coming into Spring training trying to start the season off right and be better than last yr. I understand the frustration. Maybe they'll stop interviewing him now.
@TheMeatDragon@MLBONFOX @BallySportWest Arty and trying to be the Yankees of the West Coast. It's simple. At the same time, big contracts HAVE paid out for plenty of guys...Halos just get shafted sometimes. Trout is the posterboy and struggles to stay healthy, yet gets a pass cuz he says the right things.
@b0nerjams_03 @MLBONFOX @BallySportWest except if he can be healthy and not have some wild injury or surgery, he can be useful... and if they cut him, they still owe him money, so they'd might as well hang on. If he's on the DL, someone else will play, and can contribute when that's the case.
