Neil deGrasse Tyson met with F1 star Lewis Hamilton to talk about the new rules for this F1 season, but Lewis had ZERO interest in that and just wanted to ask him about space, aliens, the universe and relativity 😭🪐👀
“That’s all boring stuff. I wanna talk about space… First time seeing you, I wanna talk about space.” 🤣
A week ago today, we were delighted to host the Igniting Inclusion Summit at Silverstone, in collaboration with @F1, bringing together F1 teams, young people and Mission 44 partners to discuss the steps being taken to make the sport more inclusive, and what more needs to be done to drive change.
Alongside representatives from F1 teams, the Igniting Inclusion Summit included a keynote speech from our CEO @Jason_Arthur and a fascinating discussion between our Motorsport Scholarship alum and current @redbullracing engineer Lily Owuye, Head of Employee Experience at @redbullracing, Claire Chan, and Prof. Gordana Collier from @oxford_brookes University.
There was also a special fireside chat, hosted by @F1’s Head of ESG Ellen Jones, alongside @ScuderiaFerrari’s Dennis de Munck, @MercedesAMGF1's Hiran Odedra, and @AstonMartinF1’s Debbie Wall. The conversation explored some of the opportunities F1’s DEI Charter has offered, as well as an honest and solutions-focused reflection on some of the challenges of delivery.
Held five years after the Hamilton Commission’s landmark report ‘Accelerating Change’ was published, the summit - which was also attended and supported by @AlpineF1Team, @audif1_, @Cadillac_F1, @McLarenF1, @WilliamsF1, @HaasF1Team and @visacashapprb - marked a key moment in building a more inclusive motorsport industry, ensuring talented young people from all backgrounds can access and thrive in the sport.
Since its launch in July 2021, F1 teams and partners have made strong progress in raising awareness, inspiring young people and widening access. The next phase will focus on retaining talent and creating more opportunities for teams and stakeholders to collaborate effectively.

Remember when Ferrari were testing the “faster” version of the Macarena wing and they were having issues? They took it off the car. Pretty simple solution really until they figured it out.
So let me get this straight. The FIA is helping Max again because he apparently can never, ever win entirely on his own without the fastest car or cheating by the FIA:
1. Verstappen struggles with race starts, so the FIA changes the rules to make starts easier, while Ferrari's smaller turbo solution gets neutralized. 🤡
2. Verstappen can't keep the car on track because of Red Bull's rushed rear wing design (despite it being a driver issue), and now the FIA is looking into the Ferrari pioneered "Macarena wing" over safety concerns. 🤡
3. Ferrari introduced a rear diffuser solution and the FIA banned it. Mercedes later brought a comparable concept, and it suddenly was allowed. 🤡
4. Ferrari introduced a halo winglet, and you guessed it the FIA banned it. 🤡
5. Ferrari introduced an exhaust wing. And surprise surpise, the FIA is going to ban it in 2027. 🤡
6. Lewis has been penalized by the FIA on multiple occasions for relatively minor or trivial infringements, while others have escaped sanctions for similar actions. 🤡
Imagine the FIA doing this to Red Bull in the previous generation of cars. Of course not, Anything to help Red Bull and the "gEnErAtiOnAL tALeNt".
Not a serious sport. 🤡🤡🤡

Another extension of his own record 📈
Lewis Hamilton's 16 podiums at Silverstone are the most of any driver at a single circuit in F1 history 🇬🇧

I’ve never hidden that despite being a Brit I’m not keen on Russell or Norris. Entitled wealthy kids. As for the Lando stand @SilverstoneUK what the f? But soooo happy that this year in all but Lando teenagers stand it was a sea of RED so that excludes Lewis Silverstone cap
