We were lucky enough to get a sneak peek at the Castlefield Viaduct garden in the sky today as work continues on the urban green space ahead of opening at the end of July.

CALCO have recently partnered with @IntergralUK Ltd and @LivUni to create what we believe to be the first native wildflower meadow and pond on The University of Liverpool city centre campus.

Low fertility topsoil has been imported to support the growth of native wildflower species which will be planted by University students. The students will also construct bug hotels, dead wood and rock piles to attract a wide variety of animals, plants and fungi.
Sign writing complete, slam locks fitted and wash stations installed, so new vans ready to rock and roll. It’s just a shame they’ll be full of dirty tarmac tools by the end of the week.
