I was able to write about my favorite topic for Glasstire -- Palestinian art! If you're in DFW there's a few days left before "A Banquet for Seaweed: Snapshots from the Arab 1980s" closes and it's definitely worth the trip.

@Mina_Aldroubi Hi @Mina_Aldroubi! This is a beautiful article! I'm looking for contact info for your grandfather's estate so I can send a letter requesting image clearance rights for his work in the Farjam Collection for their upcoming book. Would you mind DMing me that info if you have it?
My first @artthisweek interview is online! It was such a treat getting to speak to Guillaume Kientz about the @KimbellArt's exhibition, "Murillo: From Heaven to Earth" -- especially about the 16 dogs featured in the show 😏

I'm putting together my presentation for this week's docent talk at the FW Modern and losing my MIND at the opportunity to explain all of the Lindsay Lohan references Martine Gutierrez included in the titles for her Queer Rage series
Maybe one of my favorite finds while researching for my thesis -- I was looking through a Haverford College yearbook from 1935 trying to find a classmate of Sari Sakakini who gifted him an oil painting and found a series of epitaphs for students who dropped out before graduation:
At bridge or track or tossing it down
There wasn't a fellow with more renown;
But these pursuits, O can't you see,
Do not count towards a college degree.
Today I was able to attend a lecture for the docents at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth where my research on their new acquisitions was presented! Very excited to finally see these pieces in person 🎉
