"Compromise where you can. Where you can't, don't. Even if everyone is telling you that something wrong; is something right. Even if the whole world is telling you to move, it is your duty to plant yourself like a tree, look them in the eye, and say 'No, you move."
Peter and Judas both betrayed Jesus in one single day.
But only Peter was saved.
Do you know why??
He realised his error, took out pride, and asked sincerely for forgiveness, and he was forgiven.
Judas, too, realised his error. He returned back the 30 pieces of silver.
But because he felt his sins were too big for God to forgive, he took matters in his own hands and took his own life.
This is where the sacrament of reconciliation comes in, in the Catholic Church.
Like Judas, many Catholics today feel that their sins are too big for God to forgive.
This is why they have refused to go for confession.
But I just want to remind you that as long as you are truly sorry, God will forgive you.
Don't be like Judas. Be like Peter.
Go for confession today.
Confess those sins.
Jesus is waiting for you at the confessional with open arms.
Confess your sins before your priest so that you can receive absolution.
And then you receive Jesus in the Blessed Eucharist.
Go for confession today! Not tomorrow... but today.
THE 112-MILLION PESO MIRACLE: HOW A POLITICAL PANHANDLER SPENT A FORTUNE HE DOESN’T LEGALLY OWN
Oh, pull the other one, RODENT, it’s got bells on it. RodENT MarcoBeta really thinks the Filipino people are as brain-dead as his legal excuses. He’s standing there with a straight face, trying to sell us the most pathetic fairy tale in the history of Philippine corruption: that ₱112 million just "happened" to fall into his pockets before he was a candidate.
This isn't a "defense." It’s a middle finger to every taxpayer who can actually do basic addition. Let’s take a torch to this pile of garbage he calls "logic" and look at the actual laws he’s trying to dance around.
1. THE "I WASN’T A CANDIDATE" COWARDICE
This IDIOT is hiding behind the Penera Doctrine like a cockroach under a kitchen tile. He claims he wasn't a "candidate" yet, so the money doesn't count as an election contribution. Give us a break. If a "friend" hands you ₱112 million specifically to fund a campaign, it’s a campaign contribution in every sense of the word. Calling it anything else is just linguistic lipstick on a corruption pig. You didn't get that money because of your "charming" personality, Rodante; you got it because you’re a political mercenary for hire.
2. THE SALN SUICIDE NOTE
This is where his story hits the sewer. Under RA 6713 (The Code of Conduct for Public Officials), you are required to file a true and detailed Statement of Assets, Liabilities, and Net Worth (SALN).
• The Math of a Liar: If that ₱112 million was given to you "personally" before you filed your candidacy, it became a personal asset. Yet, your SALN says you’re only worth ₱52 million.
• The Missing ₱60 Million: Where is it, Senator? Under your mattress? Or did you conveniently "forget" to declare a fortune that is more than double your entire reported net worth?
• The Legal Trap: By his own logic, he has admitted to falsifying his SALN, which is a one-way ticket to dismissal from service and perpetual disqualification from public office.
3. THE "GIFT" OF PURE GRAFT
To claim these were just "contributions from friends" is a direct confession of violating the Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act (RA 3019) and Article 211 of the Revised Penal Code (Indirect Bribery).
• Indirect Bribery: Public officials are prohibited from accepting gifts offered "by reason of their office." No "friend" hands a sitting Senator ₱112 million out of the goodness of their heart. That’s a down payment on a soul.
• Unexplained Wealth: Under RA 3019, having assets "manifestly out of proportion" to your salary is ground for immediate dismissal and forfeiture. Marcoleta just told the whole country he has access to ₱112M while officially owning only ₱52M. He’s literally handing the Ombudsman the handcuffs.
4. THE DEATH OF TRANSPARENCY
The Statement of Contributions and Expenditures (SOCE) exists so the public knows which billionaire has their hand up a politician's back like a ventriloquist. By claiming this was "pre-candidacy" money, Marcoleta is saying, "I’ve been bought and paid for, but I’m too much of a coward to tell you by whom." He isn't a legal genius; he’s a man who thinks the public is too stupid to see a ₱60-million-peso hole in his story. ₱112 million spent. ₱52 million owned. The math doesn’t add up, and neither does his integrity.

Wala sa listahan ng mga sangkot sa flood control issue ni Pangulong Bongbong Marcos si dating House Speaker Martin Romualdez.
“I don’t think so because the only evidence that has been made against him is in the Senate. With the Speaker, no. Not as yet. If something else comes out, then he might have to be answerable for something,” saad niya sa paglalahad niya ng kanyang report nitong Huwebes, November 13, 2025.
Aniya, isasapubliko rin nila ang listahan ng mga personalidad na dawit sa nasabing issue.
“We don’t file cases for optics, we file cases to put people in jail or to make people answer,” dagdag ni Marcos.

“if people take their own lives go to hell, then i pray there's a place in hell where the fire burns gently for those who were too hurt to save themselves.
but then again, if He can forgive a failing heart, a failing lung, and a failing liver, then why would a failing mind be any different?”
