Am I the only one who genuinely dislikes the habit of dismissing someone else's struggles simply because you believe you've had it worse? Pain isn't a contest. Someone else's struggle doesn't become less valid because yours is different or feels bigger. We all carry different burden. kindness costs nothing, but it can mean everything.
