The domino effect of the rising oil price will create a major shock for consumers, producers & government. It is going to take more cash to do the same activities.
In this environment, 2026 plans need to be reassessed & adjusted urgently. We need to focus on urgent execution of the “must-do” and pause the “would-like-to-do” activities.
Of course, none of us has visibility of the length of the latest geopolitical disturbance but prudent risk management requires us to assume that it will be for an extended period.
Shock after shock after shock, sigh…
If you have time to gather MPs from communities that are affected from hurricane Melissa to complain what is not happening, you are not happening
Go into the constituency, work day & night for the people & stop complaining. Leaders lead, they do not complain.

Just a few short weeks ago, some among us were nudging us to get involved in international conflict...
Jamaica's foreign policy is "friend to all and foe to none".
This is our history, this is our heritage!

I’m putting something forward .. Melissa was a Category 5 Hurricane. I wonder if listed companies would pledge 5% of profits this year to go into a pool? Or $500k worth of the shares sold to support the effort?
I think we need to go really big, because this was a really big storm.
I’m pledging 5% of my profits for this year to go towards the relief / build back efforts. #JamaicaStrong
I’m seeking someone for a temporary job, to manage our Relief Secretariat for the Kintyre Holdings Foundation. We want to ramp up the efforts to support in whatever way we can. Email me at [email protected] or simply comment under here.
El Salvador will send 3 humanitarian aid planes to Jamaica tomorrow.
More than 300 rescuers will take part in this mission, and we will send over 50 tons of supplies to support those affected by the devastation caused by Hurricane Melissa.
“God loves a cheerful giver.”
Worst part of this hurricane is these arrogant and misinformed people from other nations covering it. “Sorry for this little poor country” .. “ .. beautiful people, poor country and infrastructure , I feel sorry for the people” .. Bruh!
The phrase is "rein it in"
The expression, a metaphor drawing on the use of reins to control a horse, is about controlling or limiting someone or something.
You appear to be struggling with English as much as Jamaican Patwa.
