The moment I realized we don’t have one voice and can’t move forward as a country was when we were heading home from redemption camp and those drivers called the fare to IKD 2500. Something that’s 1k las las 1200 and people rushed to enter the bus.

After the bus left, people stood their ground that they won’t enter any bus that costs more than 1200. The next bus came called it 2500, and we saw people rushing to enter. When we just agreed that nobody will enter bus for nothing more than 1200.

People were angry, this time a man said if the next bus is not accepting 1200 or 1500 no one should enter, the driver will have no choice than to reduce the fare, everyone agreed. Next bus came again, IKD 2500 omo naso them rush am too, I just weak.

Sha, we later entered a bus for 1500 when it remained those of us that won’t enter IKD bus for 2500, the driver had no choice than to reduce the fare to 1500.

There was a kidnapping the day before yesterday, another one yesterday, and another one today. And at this rate, there’ll be another tomorrow, next tomorrow, and anytime these terrorists feel like it (we pray not) because this isn’t the first time, and nothing ever happens, the news is not a big deal anymore until it affects us.

When it started with the Chibok girls, it wasn’t just a Nigerian issue, the whole world was watching. That should have been the moment to take bold, decisive action against the criminals and the people sponsoring them whether local or international. But instead, it became a chance for some people to siphon money and turn a national tragedy into politics.
Every kidnap now is just a normal news, it’s becoming a part of our daily news.

Our armed forces are sacrificing their lives at the war fronts but political saboteurs are sabotaging their efforts.

No terrorist organization can overpower a government unless the government permits it, directly or indirectly.
