#Lanterns isn’t just the BEST thing DC has done since THE BATMAN… it’s my favorite series of 2026.

A truly impeccable series that dives deep into what it actually means to be a Green Lantern and the enormous responsibility that comes with carrying that ring. It’s dark, it’s scifi, it’s twisted, but most importantly, it’s never afraid to get WEIRD.

What this series establishes about the Lanterns and their mythology is fascinating, and its decade spanning story allows for some incredible deep dives into both of our characters’ lives while slowly unraveling the mystery at the center of it all.

And of course, our two Green Lanterns are PERFECT.

Kyle Chandler is a stellar Hal Jordan, bringing that charming charisma mixed with a “go f*** yourself” attitude that fits the character perfectly, while Aaron Pierre might genuinely be everything we need in a John Stewart.

Also… Episode 5 is THE standout of the season and completely redefines everything you thought this series was.
