@Talan_WR@SchisterNick Now this a problem for me that you can pin on being a high level player. With my mmr, I frequently get the worst teammates the rank has to offer. A problem that affects a small amount of players, but it is devastating for us.
@Talan_WR Ranks don't do a good job of representing skill in this game. Rank for a lot of players is a reflection of how many games they play (because of fortitude system). Some are lower than they should be for playing less games than average, and vice versa.
@Talan_WR Even solid master players will still get the occasional Plat-level inters on their team. Huge skill gap. The difference is the enemy team will also be weaker as I'm not in the game to heavily tip the MMR scale. Stop rank inflation, *then* matchmake based on rank+skill level.
@Talan_WR This matchmaking system doesn't match you with people of similar skill to you. It tries to balance the teams, which might mean 1 team has Me and 4 silver-plat players, and the other team has 5 Master level players. Those aren't similar skill level players by any means

This "mmr matchmaking" makes more sense in systems where the best players can gain extra elo when winning, or los less elo when losing. Fortitude does NOT compensate for this. I might get 100 fortitude in a great game. When my gains should be +20 -10 baseline, this sucks.

It is practically impossible to have a terrible winrate (lets say less than 45%) in a large sample size of games (say 500+) unless you are trying to lose on purpose. To give additional winrate % to the worst players, you have to take it away from players who deserve to win.
@tayggan@StartingXD@Shumas_@imshiso The game takes NA players to BR too sometimes. The thing is, when I get 200ms on BR, I just shit on them instead of complaining about ms and trolling
