I help people who can't help themselves.
Giving a 'Hand Up' is not the same as giving a 'Hand Out'
Having Love, Joy, Empathy is necessary to follow me.
Thanks I forgot:
Joe Biden received 81 million votes. More than any candidate for President in the history of this country. It was a total landslide. A wipe out of historic proportions. He then went on to pass more bipartisan legislation than any President since LBJ. Conversely Donald Trump has not done much except start a war no one wanted doubled inflation expanded the trade deficit to historic highs and enriched himself and his family to the tune of billions of dollars.
Trump’s name ripped off the Kennedy Center — but not before they put up scaffolding AND a massive curtain to shield the public from watching.
Peak petty. Peak fragile. Peak humiliation.

Tom and I share a belief that California can lead the nation on climate action, affordable housing, and the fight for affordable healthcare for all Californians.
Onward to November.
@TomSteyer This was a very gracious concession statement by Tom Steyer. And he immediately endorsed Xavier Becerra, which says a lot about his character. He understands the mission. This is exactly how it’s done, Democrats! #CAGOV
We must keep in mind two attitudes in our Christian life in order to be “wise architects” in building the civilization of love. The first guiding principle is to take up the cross of Christ as Good Samaritans, accompanying and helping to carry the burdens of so many brothers and sisters who are crucified by life’s trials. The second principle is to cultivate a Eucharistic spirituality, a spirituality of ecclesial unity in love.
Journalist Katie Phang's lawsuit against Todd Blanche and the Justice department over the withholding of Epstein files, may force Todd to comply in releasing the remaining files. Watch her do it. She is fearless.
Having spent time with Xavier Becerra on the campaign trail, I know he will stand strong against Donald Trump and look out for Californians across the state. Californians deserve a governor who will fight for our values and bring down costs, not bend the knee to MAGA extremism that will take our state backwards. I look forward to working with my fellow Democratic candidates to elect @XavierBecerra in November.
Thank you, Governor @GavinNewsom.
You’ve helped lead California through some of our toughest challenges, and I’m honored to have your endorsement. I look forward to continuing to fight for working families and ensuring the California Dream is accessible for all.
Onward!
Since the beginning of the week, 11 of our regions have come under attack – in less than three days, the Russians used nearly 530 drones and two air-launched guided missiles against Ukraine. Russia added to the list of its new victories a Panama-flagged container ship, agricultural enterprises, railway and energy facilities, and, most of all, ordinary residential buildings. Dozens of people were wounded.
Every day, Ukraine’s diplomatic efforts must be aimed at strengthening the protection of our sky. There have been many international meetings and negotiations on air defense recently, and it is important to ensure that all agreements are implemented, above all regarding PURL. Even more can be decided at the G7 and NATO summits. Ukraine needs protection – this is a prerequisite for diplomacy to work. I thank all partners who are helping.
Trump says voter fraud should land people in prison.
Agreed. And let's start with the politicians spreading election lies with the goal of illegally interfering with counting ballots.
In California, I just signed a law making that punishable with up to 3 years behind bars.
More to come. FAFO, Donald.
Enough is enough.
At what point do we stop pretending this is normal?
At what point do we stop allowing @realDonaldTrump to insult women, berate women, threaten women, degrade women, and then hide behind power like he is untouchable?
He has been doing this his entire life.
In business.
In politics.
In the courts.
In the Epstein circle.
And now, as president of the United States, he uses the most powerful platform in the world to attack women who speak out, women who stand up, women who dare to tell the truth.
Look at what he is doing to E. Jean Carroll. A jury found him liable for sexually abusing and defaming her — and instead of accountability, he keeps attacking. He keeps trying to intimidate. He keeps using power as a weapon.
And that is exactly the point.
This is not just about insults. This is about control.
He takes away women’s rights.
He attacks women’s credibility.
He covers up the Epstein files.
He protects the powerful men while attacking the women who survived them.
He wants women silent. He wants survivors scared. He wants the country numb.
I’m asking a simple question:
When is enough finally enough?
When do we stand together and say no more?
No more letting the media normalize it.
No more letting politicians excuse it.
No more letting powerful men abuse women and then call themselves victims.
No more silence.
I am calling on this community — women, men, survivors, parents, citizens, everyone with a conscience — to stand together as one voice.
Protect women.
Believe survivors.
Demand the Epstein files.
Hold Trump accountable.
And stop supporting any media outlet, politician, or platform that continues to sanitize, excuse, or cover for this madness.
Because this is not politics anymore.
This is about basic decency.
This is about right and wrong.
This is about whether we are still willing to stand up for the women of this country against a man who has spent his life degrading them.
Enough is enough.
It is time to stand up.
It is time to speak out.
It is time to fight back together.
Today, the Russians again struck the special territory around the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant. A “shahed” hit one of the buildings of the Centralized Spent Fuel Storage Facility. An extremely critical infrastructure facility – and an extremely vile Russian strike. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the Ministry of Energy, and all our services are already working to ensure that each of our partners knows what has happened.
Russia deliberately struck this particular nuclear infrastructure facility. As of now, there are no readings exceeding normal background radiation levels. But there is certainly an increase in Russia’s brazenness, which long ago went off the charts. Ukrainian first responders extinguished the fire at this facility after the strike. And real new steps by the world are needed so that the Russians feel that this terrorist war of theirs is a blow to Russia itself.
Last night, there were also Russian strikes on other civilian facilities in 13 of our regions. In total, over the course of this past week, Russia launched 88 missiles, more than 3,250 attack drones, and around 1,800 guided aerial bombs against Ukraine. Pressure on Russia must be increased. Thank you to everyone who’s helping!
Today is the 82nd anniversary of D-Day – the Allied landings in Normandy, which significantly hastened the countdown to the Nazis' collapse in World War II. It is one of the most important moments of unity among the defenders of life in human history, and it was less than a year until the peoples’ aspiration for freedom and the hope of peace prevailed in May 1945. It happened then. We are working to make it happen again today.
And although yesterday in Petersburg another cynical order to continue killing was issued for the army trying to destroy our freedom, history has seen this before. The Nazis also had their own hopes after D-Day. But freedom still wins. And even in the darkest circumstances, people find ways to come together to protect life.
I thank all those who are now helping to protect the values that prevailed in World War II. I thank everyone who is defending life. Glory to Ukraine!
