@N0SENSEOFTIME It’s not that they are lying, just that they need to understand the possibility of a catfish… the rude things that happened are real. There’s just no guarantee of who did it
Doubt anyone will see this… when bookstores receive books, do they pay for them? Or do publishers just give them out to be sold? Like local bookstores, not Barnes and nobles
I JUST LEARNED THAT IF WE LOSE THE AMAZON RAINFOREST WE BASICALLY TRIGGER A LITERAL CARBON TIME BOMB AND MASS EXTINCTION EVENT, SAVE THE RAINFOREST RIGHT THE FUCK NOW
I’m all for ripping on people who pirate books, but this is super cringe.
A physical copy of a book is not a license, nor do authors have the legal right to impose or enforce such a license.
A physical book is the end user’s property, and they have every right to sell it or give it away.
This might sound bad but many people in the arts do not just rely on that as their main source of income… if you’re in it for the money I fear you’re going to have a rude awakening. Get that second (primary) source of income until you make it
@Carrie_Army@victoriajayneoh Why share a resource you’re not even familiar with? I think this is nice for people who want to read random books but majority have interest in known books
