@johnlbirch@policy_uk@MoreThanScore@MrBoothY6 The tests form a baseline used by secondary schools nationwide and by the DfE. The information is used to inform a myriad of decisions in secondary school. Though doubtless an imperfect system - to denigrate them to the extent you have does you no favours.
@FrankWNorris Lots of chat about ‘staff wellbeing’ but the process is still as stressful as it always was and for us, still very much decided by data prior to an inspector setting foot on the premises.
@Woke_warrior69@MatthewStadlen It’s much easier to know the party that I could not dream of voting for due to 1) the leadership 2) The abject, unworkable and unaffordable policies.
@JessePeltan Growing from five people charging their toothbrush to nearly 2billion people doing so will show rapid growth. In Europe and the UK people have been using electricity fairly consistently across the whole population since 1970.
@Arron_banks For every £100 spent by UK government, they spend around 30p on immigration. You’ve completely conned the English electorate that it’s the big issue we face. Fair play to you for that piece of con-artistry.
Many of us know you are the stooges of the super rich and powerful.
@Arron_banks But the thing is, many English voters are politically homeless and simply do not trust Reform. They see, oddballs, racists, grifters etc. Plenty of evidence to back this up on a weekly basis. No-one would staff their company with these people. Why would they vote for them?
@warwickmansell This is a bit silly. Some students have learnt that this is a passive aggressive way of disrupting learning and that to refuse a toilet request is “against my rights”.
A bit of even handed reporting wouldn’t be amiss.
@warwickmansell would you say an 18% top slice was acceptable? I know there’s some nuance here but I remember 5% being the number originally quoted when schools in the Trust I know well were being consulted re: joining.
@Woke_warrior69@MatthewStadlen It’s that kind of language and thought process that exemplifies why Reform could never be the party of choice for so many people in this country.
@thetimes surprised to see fake ads for @MartinSLewis in your online newspaper. Hidden amongst your top story. An anti Starmer piece. Who would have guessed.
@Parody_PM Braverman is, and always has been, a numbskull of the very highest order. How she has achieved an elevated post in anything she has done is utterly beyond me.
