@wgmin_finance@WelshGovernment The average house price in Scotland is apparently ยฃ178,991 not much more than wales. I really hope you follow a similar response to the Scottish Government in terms of setting the LTT threshold to help first time buyers who are in areas where price is higher than national average
@fmwales @WelshGovernment Hopefully there will be a positive announcement regarding the LTT for first time buyers. relaxation similar to Scotland will help towards money lost in property value reductions. Please think of FTBโs, it has been very difficult to get to a position to buy prior to the pandemic!
@fmwales @MichealMartinTD What of the LTT? We are the last nation in the UK to announce a stance, we are falling behind once more. Scotland sensibly upped it to 250k which will help first time buyers get a better start on the property ladder during this pandemic. Clarity needed! #landTransactionTax#LTT
@SeneddWales @SeneddCCERA @WGEnviroAgri Can you please make an announcement regarding the LTT either way so there is clarity for those due to purchase properties in the next week? It doesnโt seem right a few miles from us across the border people are getting the help they need while those in Wales receive no relief.
@Terranc45460882@JulieJamesMS Iโm a first time buyer due to pay LLT higher than average prices in our area. Iโve been on furlough for two months on 80% wage, a tax holiday will help myself and others in this position greatly. These are unprecedented times, quoting past figures doesnโt seem appropriate here.
