I wonder if it was a conscious decision when they chose the EN VAs. I find it interesting Caleb and Valko's VAs use colloquial speech. Xavier and Zayne's VAs use mainly formal speech, and it's why they can pull off British accents in their AUs etc. Rafayel and Sylus' VAs sound --

@cardinal_writes I actually really like the home feature. I use it a lot and I really am looking forward to cute interactions via cooking. I'm a lifelong sims player so it feels like mashing all my loves into one game.

You know that meme of the guy who says "aw, my cake doesn’t look as good as the other cake!" and then a second guy comes in and says "yay, two cakes!" Well, the LADS community has throughly convinced me that that's bullshit; if your cake isn't exactly how they want it, they'll start an angry mob.

Imagine liking chocolate cake, being given two chocolate cakes, and then getting pissed because the second chocolate cake wasn't a different flavor. Except it *was* a different flavor; you were just so focused on the frosting, you didn't bother to cut the cake and see the layers inside.

Criticizing the bakery's shitty business practices is one thing. Calling a Devil's Food cake and a Black Forest cake the same exact cake because they're both chocolate is just plain wrong.

@chococriiis I think it's more rivals to lovers. That gets lumped in with enemies to lovers a lot and it's different in scope, usually. Which is totally fine, I like the tension either way even if it's not true enemies to lovers.
