I am a software developer who live streams on Twitch playing video games while ranting about philosophy, science, economy, and world domination. He/Him
The next weeks are looking suuuper busy with exams and other real life obligations, so I will have to take a short Twitch hiatus until things calm back down a little.
Will be back in business as soon as things clear up! ๐๐
@SilariaGames I've had that same exact feeling for 3 years now. I flirt with the idea of starting again and then remember how much time and energy everything other than going live took.
@Bellona0 Uuuuhm the auto translate said cotton so I assumed you were really happy about fabric... But I would happily try Babovna whatever it really is. :p
I had a therapist who once told me, โif you donโt schedule a break, your body will take one for you. And it probably wonโt be at a convenient time.โ
@bool__prop I share many of your thoughts and feelings in this thread, my father was much the same way throughout his life.
I feel like there is a book that should be written about this schism between our parental heroes and us as they remain who they were while we learn and mature.
@SilariaGames I think you're strong and brave to make a decision I know is hard for you but that is likely to help you out in the long run. I've been postponing a similar decision for too long and you've given me inspiration to go through with it. It's been a pleasure getting to know you โค๏ธ
@Sampson9091@piratesavvy@SilariaGames The trick is to map out all the things that drain your bucket and all the things that fill your bucket.
Do more of the things that fill it, do less of the things that drain it. Prioritize the bucket over most other things.
