@danielle_town and @Rule1_Investing, I would really love to hear what happened with Horsehead Holdings. When you covered it on the podcast, there was some legal stuff in motion. Could you share with us what actually happened now?
I'm really glad to share this new podcast that I have been co-hosting with my good mate @WallbanksSam

Missing or inaccessible lung function measurements in healthcare are hazardous to patients and cause resource waste. Collaborative efforts are needed to better integrate lung function measurements in practice to ensure timely, reliable and safe care.ย https://t.co/7aGHRME6i3
Lots of incredible work at this year's ERS in Vienna.
AI was the theme of this year's event and there are a lot of developments coming down the line. #ERSCongress#ERS2024
All fellow #CPET practitioners. Would you consider the data presented to be normal or abnormal (despite reaching and surpassing predicted Max before plateauing)? And what is your rationale?
Cardiopulmonary exercise testing applied to respiratory medicine: Myths and facts > #CPET is poorly understood & often under or mis-used; clinically useful strategies provided to get the most out of CPET incl exposing pulmonary limitations to exercise https://t.co/k5TLpkdEfS
We did it! It's been a horrible season but in the end we won a trophy. Both goalscorers are young academy graduates. Which is satisfying. Congrats to the team and staff! Celebrate well ๐๐ #Mufc#FACUP24
For such an easy measurement to obtain, I believe it is worth doing pre and post bronchodilation to assess change in resistance at tidal breathing. Thoughts?
I personally find Raw very useful when interpreting PFTs. Granted, the evidence for the use of FEV1 to classify AFO is overwhelming but in normal life we seldom breathe in that fashion. Raw can give us an idea of the effort required to ventilate at tidal breathing. #lungfucntion
Recently a loved one who avoided a steeper route so they wouldn't feel breathless. I explained to them that there is nothing wrong with being breathless when walking up a steep hill. We need to normalise Breathlessness during exertion...that's what makes it an exertion.
A very interesting piece of work detailing the use of O2pulse-AT/O2pulse-rest ration to indicate pulmonary vascular disease. A ratio <2.6 indicates an abnormal response.
Definitely a metric I shall look into retrospectively.

@CrossCountryUK is the 08:18 from Doncaster to Newcastle permanently discontinued? As It did not run at all last week and isn't scheduled to run this week also.
